GEAR RADAR DIGITAL SOLUTIONS

Terms of Service

Effective 14 October 2026

These terms apply when you use any service from Gear Radar Digital Solutions ("Gear Radar", "we", "us"), a business based in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. By signing up or using our services you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

1. Our services

Plan features, limits and prices are shown on our website at the time you sign up.

Launch prices. Until 31 January 2027 our prices are launch prices, 50% of our regular prices, which apply to new sign-ups from 1 February 2027. If you take a monthly or annual plan or add-on at a launch price, we keep that price for at least 12 months from the date you sign up, as long as your subscription stays active.

2. Signing up

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. We review every signup and may decline one without giving a reason. Your activation links and edit codes are personal: keep them private, as anyone with them can use your account or page.

3. Payment, renewal and cancellation

4. Connecting your Google account

The assistant only accesses the Google account you choose to connect, and only to provide the features you use: drafting and sending emails, and reading and adding calendar events. It does not read your Gmail inbox; if you want help with an email you received, you can paste or forward its text into the chat. It always shows you a draft and waits for you to tap Confirm before sending an email or adding an event. You can disconnect at any time from your Google account settings (Security → Third-party connections) or by asking us to close your account.

5. AI output: please check it

Our services use artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, misread an email or a job advert, or miss something. Summaries, match scores, briefs, route suggestions and tailored CV text are suggestions to help you, not professional, legal, financial or careers advice. You are responsible for checking anything before you rely on it, send it or submit it. Tailored CV text is a draft: only use statements that are true for you.

6. Fair and acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, impersonate others, infringe anyone's rights, or try to break, overload or misuse our systems. Plans include daily or monthly limits; we may pause use that goes far beyond them. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

7. Third-party services

Our services rely on providers such as Google, Telegram, WhatsApp (Meta) and job-listing sources. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their outages, changes or the accuracy of third-party job adverts.

8. Websites and Smart QR pages

9. Intellectual property

10. Availability

We work hard to keep everything running, but we cannot promise the services will always be available or error-free. We may improve or change features over time and will tell you by email about changes that significantly affect your plan.

11. Our liability

We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses (such as lost profit or opportunity), or for decisions you make based on AI output you did not check. Apart from that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law.

12. Ending the service

You can stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or end a service if you break these terms or do not pay, or if we stop offering it, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can and refund any unused prepaid period. When an account closes we delete or anonymise your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email you about important changes before they take effect.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
